Carrie’s design experience began with a family of very talented artists. Her great-grandmother was a painter and accomplished actress, her aunt is a successful sculptor, her cousin is a nationally recognized photographer and her mother is a well established interior designer. Although she graduated with a degree in Economics, her passion has always been design. After the birth of her first son, she designed her first website and continued to design several for friends. She owns a retail stationery company and has successfully grown the business in the five years since being online.
Creating a line of her own was a natural progression and so, in 2008, littleday press was launched. Several of Carrie’s cards have won Minted.com’s popular Design Challenges and are currently for sale through their site. Littleday press is still in its infancy and she loves to work on custom orders for clients while the business is somewhat small. All of the designs were created by Carrie and she is more than happy to modify the designs to fit her clients’ requests.
